I am the mom of Alex Feeney, who was a good friend of Nathan’s. Alex spent his 6th grade year at Spring Branch Middle School (because he didn’t make it into Cornerstone Academy in the 6th grade lottery). He started at Cornerstone at the beginning of his 7th grade year and knew almost no one at the school. I was so worried about Alex being “the new kid” at the school. Nathan and his friends were so welcoming to Alex and quickly included him into their group. Alex immediately felt at home there. And then Nathan was the first person at the school to invite Alex to an event outside of school. Nathan invited Alex to his birthday party at his lakehouse, and Alex had a blast. Nathan and all of his family members and friends were so nice to Alex. Since then Nathan has been over to our house for parties and get-togethers. It has always been a pleasure having him here and so great watching the teenagers having so much fun.

Nathan, Alex and all of their Cornerstone friends had such a special bond with each other. I will always be thankful that they all found each other.

Nathan will surely be missed.
