Dear Petree Family,
I remember the time we had to do a project in school for selling a food. I chose Nathan because he was known as the number 1 business man in our class. After a long battle, I got to be his partner. Nathan was a very smart kid, but when it came to business, his eyes would light up and he became an expert. Nathan had a confidence beyond compare. No matter what the issue was, Nathan could turn any bad situation into something to laugh about. I cannot think of one time when Nathan put himself before others, especially his friends. When we had a get-together at my house, when we were done Nathan asked my mom if she needed help with the dishes. My mother never thought that one of my friends would help her with the dishes. Nathan was a great older and younger brother to his siblings. Nathan would constantly watch out for his youngest sister Isabella. When I saw how well he cared for his siblings, I wanted to be the big brother that Nathan was. I knew he would have been a great father. Finally, my greatest memory, when we were paint-balling and it was my first time doing it. I was so scared of getting hit, and Nathan was on my team. When I was about to get shot Nathan stopped what he was doing and jumped in front of me. Later that day, I asked Nathan why he did that and he said, “Thats what friends do”. He was one of the best friends anyone could ask for.
