To know Nathan was to Love Him. As we celebrate the unique, handsome, compassionate and caring young man that he was, let us remember all the good, fun and happy times we spent with him. Nathan was and always will be deeply loved and treasured by his family. If you ever saw him water ski, play poker, or a video game, you knew he was giving it his all. He was quietly observant of all things and would surprise the heck out of you when you realized all that he comprehended. He would want to beat the pants off you playing poker or gin and he was quite good at it. He never missed a trick!
He loved grilled cheese sandwiches and one day I got a text from him displaying a plate of grilled cheese sandwiches that he had made. It was beautiful.
As his grandmother, I know he was God’s gift to all of us, and that we all have been blessed to have him as part of our lives. His beautiful blue eyes, quiet smile and gentle spirit are treasures for our souls.
Nathan will never stop giving as that is his gift!
23rd Psalm
