Establish systems that produce a material reduction in the number of suicides from age 15 to 19 at specific schools and once the system is refined then duplicate that system across many schools and communities.
Elements of the system to include:
- Mentor and buddy system program
- Technology to raise alerts without invading privacy of students
- Education and awareness to include subtle indicators, high-risk moments, and how to safe guard our children’s environment.
Pilot program schools
- Memorial High School – Houston, TX
- Midland and Lee High Schools – Midland, TX
After reviewing benchmark statistics of additional schools two more initial schools will be selected for a total of five.
Statistics before and after the system is implemented will be measured, lessons learned captured, and the system updated based on knowledge gained.
Once the system is refined it will be scaled school-by-school, city-by-city, and county-by-country.

Let me know if I can help. I could distribute information to young people who are troubled by their parents impending marital breakup. I have an active family law practice and presently deliver material to veterans who contemplate self harm. Bill Alexander 432-638-3758 mobile
